Lull Telehandlers
Since the year 1959, Lull has been making telehandlers. Their machinery have been designed for load placement with their patented Stabil-Trak stability system. This system offers a lot more precise placement capabilities. Lull telehandlers provide different optional attachments and these telehandlers could really help you accomplish your requirements, while being efficient and safe at the worksite. If precision and accuracy are a must, leave it to a Lull telehandler to accomplish everything you need.
The Future
In order to make rough terrain forklifts as functional as possible, many attachments have been engineered and made such as winches, booms, and rotating fork carriages, to enable the forklift to place materials more accurately. The articulating booms or booms come with 2 different extendible arms and are able to reach up and over structures in order to position loads in the center of upper floors or on interior roof slope settings. New products and attachments are being developed and engineered all the time and would debut in the future.
Many improvements have been made with extra safety features becoming more prevalent. Like for instance, load-reach management devices are able to restrict the forklift's reach automatically, based on the load being handled rather than depending on the operator. Pressure sensors are used in order to determine the weight of the load. This information is sent to a small electronic memory device which had all the load-reach limitations pre-programmed into it.
Once the load is being placed into position, the memory would compare the extension of the boom and the boom's angle with the safety limits. There is a warning system or an important lock-up device that prevents the operator from over-reaching and possibly causing the boom to fail or the forklift to tip over.
