Designed for Safety
Yale has a great history for providing safe lift trucks which are suitable for a range of applications. The ability to engineer and produce units for better safety comes from the new technology which is available in the company's experience and the material handling business.
In their newest designs, Yale has started incorporating newly available technologies. Several of the new technologies that are on the market are first applied to forklift trucks and then later proven further through functionality and durability testing. The company performs many reliability development and controlled field tests in order to make sure that their products are very safe.
So as to enhance overall safety, Yale has designed and developed many new features, which have been integrated on many models such as:
Operator Compartment Ergonomics and Controls
The ergonomics in the operator compartment along with the controls are made with state-of-the-art technology. These designs help to ensure that the operator avoids exhaustion and heavy repetitive motions. These added comforts help to increase overall efficiency.
Adjustable Operators Controls and Compartment
Adjustable operator controls allow the operators to choose the positioning of their necessary controls. This helps make the machinery user friendly, regardless of who is operating it. Before starting their shift, the operator can make certain she or he is as comfortable as she or he can be.
Operator Presence System
Yale's hydraulic system operation called the Operator Presence System prevents the operation of the machinery if the operator is not in the correct operating position. This presence system also disables directional travel on IC engine truck models.
Swing-Out LPG Tank Bracket
The LPG tank has a drop down design which brings it out from the vehicle's center to the natural handling position of the operator which makes it way easier to change.
