Kinds
Clark manufactures a range of forklift trucks including pneumatic trucks, cushion trucks and narrow aisle. The different models differ in terms of the way they run. Like for instance, heavy-duty forklifts utilized for construction and agriculture are powered by an internal combustible engine. Narrow aisle kinds designed to be utilized in warehouses and other confined spaces run on rechargeable battery.
Lifting Capacity
According to the kind of Clark forklift trucks, the lifting capacity could differ. Forklifts that are battery-powered have a range from 1100-3000 kilograms, that depends on the type. For a greater capacity range, the internal combustion kinds are recommended. They can lift from 1400-8000 kilograms.
Engine
AC batteries, either 36 volt or 48 volt, are used to operate Clark electric forklift trucks. The internal combustion or IC engine types have 52 to 100 horsepower engines. The IC types have automatic transmission with single-speed, two-speed or three-speed kinds.
Frame/Cab
The center of the forklift is the frame/cab assembly. This includes the operator's overhead protective cover, the controls and the seat. The frame consist of the fuel tank, engine, trans-axle, wheels and transmission.
