Propane cylinders take up little space and they could be kept either inside of a storage area or outside of a facility. It does take some time to switch out a propane cylinder, though, it still does require knowledge of safety standards like the Occupational Health and Safety Administration or OSHA and also needs operator training in order to be conducted safely.

IC forklifts are faster and easier to refuel, compared to electric trucks, but the internal combustion or IC engines produce major air-polluting emissions and are very noisy.

NARROW-AISLE FORKLIFTS
The Class 2 forklifts consists of many types of forklift which are particularly designed to be used in narrow aisles. The standard storage aisles are 12 feet wide, and this easily allows a counterbalanced lift truck to turn in the aisle and put a load away. Usually, the very narrow aisles are approximately 5.5 to 6 feet wide, while narrow aisles are 8 feet wide. These narrow aisles need specialized lift trucks which could put away loads which are small enough to turn on a tight radius or without any turning at all.

Order pickers, reach trucks and turret trucks are 3 of the most common narrow-aisle lift trucks. The differences amongst these trucks are discussed below.

Narrow-Aisle Reach Trucks
The conventional reach truck is the original narrow-aisle forklift and these equipment do not require a counterweight. They are also small enough to turn around in narrow aisles. Instead, stability is provided by the outrigger arms that extend in front of the trucks. However, these outrigger arms could prevent the trucks from getting near enough to the storage rack to deposit and retrieve loads, depending on the storage configuration. To be able to overcome this particular situation, a pantograph was designed. The pantograph is really a reach truck which is made with a telescoping mechanism. This enables forks to easily and concisely reach into storage areas.

The ideal environment for a narrow-aisle forklift is a place that has good lighting, is clean, and has well-maintained floors, good traffic flow, as well as a sufficient turning aisle.
These types of machines have changed the material handling business. Toyota stands behind their dedication to giving really durable machines and excellent quality. As the company evolves, they continually strive to implement solutions so as to offer their diverse client base with the best available products.
