Narrow aisle lift trucks work by increasing the ratio of the storage space to the width of the aisle. Yale spotlights the single reach NR and the double reach NDR models for aisle widths of eight to ten feet. The Narrow Aisle trucks made by Yale provide a Quadra-Flexx Operator Compartment which has different control handle and stance configurations and apply best-in-class ergonomics.
NDR & NR Productivity Enhancements
Quadra-Flexx Operator Compartment: To be able to meet a wider range of operations, there are numerous control handle configurations such as the aft stance, the choice of fore, and the side-stance options.
AC Motor Technology: This technology offers strong deceleration and acceleration as well as fast lifting speeds. It has been manufactured for quick plugging so as to facilitate more responsive directional changes that combine to increase the amount of loads moved during a shift.
Reach & Mast Assembly: The mast reach assembly comprise trunion mounting and tapered roller bearings. This increases the rigidity and durability of the mast; along with the reach assembly carriage that are reinforced for long life and the gusseted rear frame weldment.
Power Lowering: Yale provides industry leading lowering speeds and these uploaded speeds really improve the overall throughput and productivity.
Regenerative Lowering: The regenerative lowering is a great function that maintains lower oil operating temperature while reducing battery changes per shift.
Electronic Steering: To really reduce energy, the electronic steering eliminates the need for hydraulic pumps. The operator can adjust the steering tiller and the technician can adjust the steer effort in order to reduce operator fatigue. In the start-up process, drive tire centers automatically initiate.
Order Selectors: The very narrow aisle trucks and the narrow aisle trucks are also known as order pickers. These equipment are made for the manual handling of racked loads which are smaller than pallet size. These order selectors elevate both the operator and the cargo to its required height. This height could be more than 30 feet. Like most turret trucks they are usually rail or wire guided when used in very narrow aisle applications.
