JLG Telehandlers New Hampshire
After spending numerous years working along with his brother to establish their crane construction company into a leader of the industry, John L. Grove decided to stop working. His wife Cora and John celebrated their retirement by setting out on a cross-country trip utilizing their R.V. After that particular journey, JLG Industries, Inc. emerged and became the world's leading producer of specialized material handling machines and mobile aerial work platforms.
John spent much of the time during the R.V. journey talking to prior business associates that the Groves were visiting on their trip. While they were visiting the Hoover Dam, tragically, 2 employees were accidentally electrocuted on scaffolding. During following conversations, John discovered a huge untapped market for a machine which could safely and quickly raise people into the air to be able to carry out construction and maintenance work.
John decided to take action when John and his wife returned from the trip. He formed a partnership with two dear friends when they bought a small metal fabrication business in McConnellsburg, Pennsylvania. During 1970, with an initial team of 20 employees, the trio built and sold the very first JLG aerial work platform. Numerous components of the basic design elements of that original machinery are still being incorporated into the current machines
Since John L. Grove first drove back into town from his cross-country journey, the business has come a very long way. They have significantly grown ever since their first aerial work platform initially launched on the marketplace. Even nowadays, JLG continues to expand into additional worldwide markets. Numerous innovative products are designed to help customers be more effective and work safer.
JLG has remained committed to being at the forefront of the business. The company takes operator comfort into consideration very seriously. They attempt to deliver in performance, as well as overall comfort and safety so that the operator can be as effective as possible.
